*Mixology Monday! Summer Series Continued!

How are ya lovin’ the heat we’ve been having? I’m sure glad that I got out of it for a week!!!  I am writing this weeks blog while on vacation in Lewin’s Cove, Newfoundland.  I hate to brag but 25 C and sunny with no humidity is absolutely fabulous!!!   Sorry for the late installment but what can I say besides I’m on vacation! LOL Well let’s get down to business!!  If this is your first time reading the blog or you have been following along you are all in for a real treat! You have just found a new place to find the Signature Drink for your special day or any occasion for that matter!!!  We will have a new list every Monday!!!  If you have certain requests you can email them to info@mysweetwedding.com and I will try very hard to fit all requests  into the schedule!!  Perhaps you don’t really have a certain idea in mind?  Check back every Monday as there will be new ideas posted then!!   If you would like any of the recipes for these awesome cocktails just click on the names.

If you missed the last few weeks installments I have changed the format up a little!  I will introduce to you 7 drink recipes every week each having a different main ingredient so to appeal to everyone!  You will find a recipe with each main ingredients in our list each week for the Summer Series! Gin, Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Whiskey/Bourbon, Beer/Wine and a Dessert Drink!

1. GIN COCKTAIL SALTY DOG II  This cocktail would be great served in a highball glass.  Ingredients include Gin, Grapefruit Juice and Salt hence the name!

2. RUM COCKTAIL  SHAGGY’S HANA BAY FROOTIE JOY  You could serve this drink in a Collins Glass!  Ingredients include Rum, Coconut-Pineapple Juice and Ice Cubes.

3.  VODKA COCKTAIL  SUMMER BEER II  This drink would best served and shared in a Pitcher. Ingredients include Frozen Pink Lemonade Concentrate, Water, Vodka and a Bottle of Beer.

4. TEQUILA COCKTAIL  TEQUILA SUNRISE This cocktail is best served in a 12 ounce glass! Ingredients include Tequila, Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice, Ice Cubes, Grenadine Syrup, an Orange Slice and Maraschino Cherry for garnish.

5. WHISKEY/BOURBON COCKTAILS CLOUD NINE MARTINI Ingredients include Whiskey, Amaretto Liqueur, Pineapple, Grenadine syrup, Lemon-Lime Flavoured Soda and a Maraschino Cherry for garnish.

6.  BEER/WINE COCKTAILS LEMONADE PUNCH This cocktail is best served in a Pitcher!  Ingredients include Pink Lemonade Concentrate, Maraschino Cherries, Lemon-Lime Flavoured Soda, Red Wine, Orange Sliced and a Lemon Sliced.

7. DESSERT COCKTAIL VANILLA WINTER WHITE RUSSIAN This cocktail is best served in a highball glass!  Ingredients include Vanilla Flavoured Vodka, Coffee Flavoured Liqueur, Irish Cream Liqueur, Vanilla Ice Cream and Milk.
